We are glad to announce the addition of Alex Gilbert Naijuka-Njuneki as a Non-Executive Board Member commencing July, 2023.

Alex is a qualified Lawyer, Arbitrator and Corporate Governance professional currently employed at the Uganda Revenue Authority in the Legal Services and Board Affairs Department as an Acting Supervisor for Board Affairs, Policy and Rulings. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Laws Degree in International Law from China University of Political Science and Law. As an integral part of the Board Affairs, Policy and Rulings division which handles a myriad of Legal aspects that affect the Authority and Revenue Collection as a whole, we believe he is a valued addition to the Culipa team.

Alex’s current areas of practice include Board Governance, Policy, Advisory, Contracts, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Legal Research, Legal Drafting, Conveyancing and Intellectual Property.

As a new addition to the Board, he brings with him a wealth of conversance in Legal and Tax advisory given his experience in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Asia and Europe.

We are glad to welcome Alex to the fold and look forward to the journey ahead.
